The former Cape Cobras left arm paceman was looking forward to feeding off the more senior statesmen in the squad who could offer up their knowledge about the game. “After speaking to the coach, I was quite excited to join, I was attracted by the goals they set for themselves, how they want to build and move forward as a squad,” he said when asked what drew him to the offer from EP. “Obviously one day I want to play for the Proteas, but it will come down to me and how hard I work for it. “As a cricketer, you are always learning, so I want to learn as much as possible, improve my skills and at the end of the day, that would be the only way that I will grow even more as a player,” he said.
