After navigating the snaking traffic queues along Marine Drive, those who opted to spend the day at the beach seemingly did so without a care for Covid-19 protocols or the ban on boozing at the beach.

Law enforcement and emergency services had their hands full as merriment returned to Nelson Mandela Bay’s shores after the booze and beach bans were lifted on Monday.
