Alice-born Unathi Mhlatyana has been appointed MD of McCain Foods SA, which is owned by the Canadian multinational food giant McCain Foods Ltd.

The SA company employs more than 1,000 people during harvest time.

McCain Foods SA’s human resources director, Karabo Mothibi, said the company was impressed by Mhlatyana’s “over 20 years’ experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, having previously been employed in leadership roles at PepsiCo and SAB/AB InBev”.
